Footage Editing Practice (Week 1 – Week 2)

For this week, we are briefed on our exercises and projects. 

We started by learning to use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit some video footage. We had to compile videos together by using the reference video.

In Week 2, we need to reduce the duration into 55 seconds. We were told to do some overlay also.

We learned to edit various tracks using Adobe Audition. We have to match the sample to the original.

Then, we were told to do telephone, stadium, bathroom sound.

Story boarding / Visual Composition (Week 3)

We learned how different camera shots and angles are used in cinematography. We were told to analyse the camera angles and shots from an advertising video.

We also had a short exercise, we had to trim videos and we had to do color grading on it. We edited it in Adobe Premiere.

Sound Editing (Week 3)

We did audio editing on a given sample voice. We had to edit it to make explosion,punch and monster sound.
