FINAL PROJECT
Creating a website for our classmate (Week 12 - week 14)
20.06.19 | Week 12We were asked to choose a partner for this project. Then, we had to design a website for our partner. I paired up to Feryn. We want to make a website that is basically about us. Feryn told me what style that she want me to design. She sent me some colour schemes. Because Feryn is a Retrophile, she wants me to design with a theme Retro also. I ask Feryn on what are the contents she wants me to put on the website. She chose Home, About me, Music, Portfolio, and Contact.
Here's the colour scheme she chose:

Feryn told me she doesn't really have a photos that looks good to put on her website. So we decided to make graphics that represent the theme.

Finally, I upload my final outcome to 000webhost. Here's the website/final outcome:
FEEDBACK
Mr. Shamsul approve the idea that I am making a personal website that is basically just about Feryn personally.
Mr. Shamsul told us that we need to mirror and use the same local server we saved in our own desktop files should be the same when uploading to 000webhost.
I have difficulties in making the image responsive and when I resize the image won't move above. Mr. Lun told me about img-fluid.
Mr. Shamsul and Mr. Lun told me to just paste the google fonts link one time. No need to paste it in each section.
REFLECTION
EXPERIENCES
At first I want to use template, but then I think that by using templates it's difficult for me to make it the way I wanted, so I decided to NOT use template. I face some technical difficulties a few times, but I'm glad that I could solve it. I also have difficulties in making my website responsive but still tidy when I resize the window.
OBSERVATIONS
Choosing the right font is important. Also, I see that alignment is really important on making the website, make sure that the alignment looks tidy so it will look more appealing and make the audiences to have a good user experience. Finally, we have to make sure that our website style looks consistent.
FINDINGS
I found that in designing website we have to make sure that our design is balanced. Also, we have to think about the graphics, it has to go well together with the style. I found that making website is also like typography, where we have to arrange everything good. Also, designing websites includes readability. Typography helps in maintaining the consistency of our websites.

- Compartmentalise our design by using grids.
- Pick two or three base colors at most for our design.
- Improve your website’s typography.
- Make elements stand out by adding white space around them.
