UX in Vending Machines

We were asked to observe the User Experience in the vending machine around the campus. My group and I decided to purchase two items, one from the snack vending machine and one from the drink vending machine.
Here is the video of recording our experience when using the vending machine on campus.

After done observing we wrote down the pain points using charts in Miro. We also write on what we can improve in the vending machine.

FEEDBACK

Mr. Razif suggested that we look into the placement of the instruction and coin input could be better, the RM 1 sign should be smaller because it looks like a warning sign when it is too big. The convenience of paying and reading the instruction can be tiring for the user. For instance, the user has to bend down when inserting the coins and stand up to put the notes or key in the item code to purchase.
