REFLECTION

Experience
Throughout this course, I've experienced a lot of challenges. I have to say that this module is more challenging than the previous one. I have to to manage my time properly. But, from this challenges, I learn a lot. Now I know how to convey a message by making an artwork. I also learn what is the important thing that we have to think about before making a new typeface. Although this module is hard, I'm glad that our lecturers could guide us well by giving us useful feedbacks for us to understand more about typography.

Observations
I observe that thinking about the audience is really important when we are about to make artworks. As designers, we have to what message we are about to convey to the audiences. By reading and researching, it will help us on designing the artworks that conveys a message. Not just that, we also have to combine it with our creativity and make sure our works are legible and aesthetically good. I also observe that a good typography must reinforces the meaning of the text. And from this module, especially when I do the projects, I observe that our ability to create good typography work depends on how well we understand the goals of our text and typeface.

Findings
From this module, I realise that typography can be used in many different ways. Also, by experiencing the module I find that I could be more aware with the typography around me. There were times when I saw an artwork, all I think about is the typography. Not just that, during this semester, I could be more aware with designer's work around me. Although this module is stressful, but I see that this module actually makes me have better knowledge on typography and design.
